President Barack Obama has signed a disaster declaration that allows the District of Columbia to receive federal aid for clean-up costs incurred during February’s historic snow storms. The declaration covers the period of Feb. 5-11, 2010, according to a White House press release. This is the second disaster declaration the president has signed to assist the District from this winter. The first covered the snow storm of Dec. 18-20.
