MOVIES: Watch a free Reese Witherspoon double feature while you sip $3 PBR tallboys at Asylum (2471 18th St. NW) tonight. Election starts at 8 p.m. followed by Freeway at 9:45 p.m.

MUSIC: The Rock and Roll Hotel’s Battle of the Bands, featuring The 19th Street Band, Public Saxaphone, The Rising Sun, A Sound Of Thunder, Braxton Parker, Franchise Players, Flo Anito, Bette Noir, Chute, and The Honeyguns, begins at 6:30 p.m. tonight, tickets $15. Proceeds go to the production of the indie film Conquering the Rose.

FOOD & DRINK: ArtBar at Art and Soul is launching a new happy hour today that they’ve named “The 5:01 Session.” The feature of this happy hour is a pairing menu that offers seven wines plus food options for $10 each. Examples of paired selections include: crispy duck wings with a 2007 Riesling, deviled eggs with a Put Up Martini, or house cured jerky with their Manhattan Cocktail.

ART: Tonight is the last night of the Terra Cotta Warriors exhibit at the National Geographic Museum (17th & M Streets NW). While all the tickets that were for sale have sold out, the museum is offering 200 free day-of tickets that are given out starting at 5:30 p.m. (limit 2 per person).
