  • D.C. Agenda reports that the Dec. 27 murder Anthony Perkins, 29, was perpetrated by “a 20-year-old District man he met on a telephone chat line and who posed as gay for the purpose of luring Perkins to a location where he could rob him, according to a police affidavit.”
  • The new local news web project from Allbritton Communications has been dubbed TBD.com. “Traditional journalism says you answer the five W’s in a story: Who? What? When? Where? Why?   • Rend Smith offers some scene over at City Desk from this evening’s press conference on the move to drop all charges against 14-year-old Malik Carter, whom police now believe was not involved in the Mar. 30 shooting on South Capitol Street. Officials say they in fact arrested the wrong guy. ‘Chief Lanier called Carter’s prior arrest “well justified” given the “chaotic scene” of the crime, which involved a footchase in the dark. She added that fingerprints ultimately cleared the teen in the case.’
