>> “The Beat Clash vs. The Mic Clash” comes to Bohemian Caverns as beatmakers and emcees battle it out for a cash prize and bragging rights. $10, 7 p.m.

Wednesday:
>> There will be a bit of a DMV hip-hop showcase at the U Street Music Hall as Tabi Bonney (pictured) headlines a show that will also feature one of the area’s most talked about crews, Diamond District. Joining them will be DJ Quartermaine and KIDS DJs. $10, 9 p.m.

Thursday:
>> It’s “Hip-Hop Trivia Night” at Lounge of Three. Free, sign up at 7 p.m./first game at 8:15 p.m.

>> One-half of French sister act Les Nubians, Blue Nefertiti (Celia Faussart) will be flying solo during two performances at Bohemian Caverns of her cabaret-inspired show, “Paris at Night.” $20, 8 p.m. and 10 p.m.

>> The monthly “AfroCuba!” will be happening at Tabaq with DJ Asho providing the sounds. $5, 9 p.m.

>> The end of the month means another edition of Lunchbox Theory’s Afrobeat party at Bossa. As usual, DJ Underdog gets top billing but he’ll also be joined by local DJ/beatmaker Slimkat78 and the Cornel West Theory band. $5, 10 p.m.

Friday:
>> The man behind “Do You Remember The Time,” “No Diggity” and a slew of other late-1980s and 1990s tracks finally has a tribute party. “Teddy’s Jam” celebrates the musical morsels served up over the years by producer Teddy Riley. DJ Randy Soul will be the night’s selector at Tabaq. $5, 9 p.m.

Saturday:
>> DJs Stylus, Meistro and Deep Sang team up the the monthly “Sol Power” at Dahlak (1771 U Street NW). On the musical menu: a smattering of soulful music from the Caribbean and western African. Free, 9 p.m.

>> Baltimore’s Karizma specializes in soulful electronic house music and is one of the best DJs and producers of it out there. He’ll be journeying I-95 or the B-W Parkway to spin at Liv. Joining him will be Chris Burns. $10, 10 p.m.

Monday:
>> Talib Kweli and DJ Hi-Tek, better known as Reflection Eternal, are back after almost a decade since their last collaborative album. They’re hitting the road in support of next month’s release, Revolutions Per Minute and will be at the Black Cat. $20 in advance/$25, 8 p.m.
