Police would not comment on why they closed the Dupont Circle Metro station, but no matter — it’s open now. An agent at WMATA said that police closed the station at “one-something” and then re-opened the station at 2:13 p.m., which was very vague and very specific. Metro tweeted a terse “Disruption cleared” — referring to Dupont. Red Line service is back to normal.
