READING: You may know him as “The Fonz,” or as Barry Zuckerkorn from “Arrested Development,” but tonight he’s Henry Winkler the author, promoting his latest young adult book,A Brand New Me, about a boy with dyslexia, at Politics and Prose (5015 Connecticut Ave. NW). 5 p.m.

MUSIC: The Buzzcocks come to the Black Cat tonight to perform every song from their first two albums: Another Music in a Different Kitchen and Love Bites. The Dollyrots open. 8 p.m., $20.

HAPPY HOUR: Duffy’s Irish Pub (2106 Vermont Ave. NW) celebrates its fourth year in business with free buffalo wings and t-shirts (while supplies last), along with drink specials including $2 tall boys, $10 pitchers, and $4 20-ounce Guinness and Kilkenny pints. The festivities run from 5-10 p.m. tonight.

Pizzeria Paradiso’s pizza and beer happy hour runs from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the bar of the Dupont Circle location (2003 P Street NW), and lower level of the Georgetown location (3282 M Street NW). Specials include $5 appetizers, discounted pizzas, and an excellent selection of half-priced draft beers (Great Lakes Holy Moses White Ale, Lagunitas Dogtown Pale Ale, and Duck Rabbit Milk Stout, to name just a few).

MOVIE: Get your daily recommended dose of cuteness by catching Babies at E Street Cinema (555 11th St. NW) at 5:15, 7:30, or 9:45 p.m. tonight. The documentary film, which has a limited release, follows four babies’ first year of life in four different parts of the world: Namibia, Mongolia, Japan, and the United States. It’s also playing at the AMC Loews Shirlington theater (2772 South Randolph St., Arlington, VA) at 5 p.m. and 7:15 p.m.
