The concept is you make your way through a PowerPoint presentation that you’ve never seen before, making it up as you go along (like in a bad dream, except in this case you wear pants). COMEDY: Aqua Teen Hunger Force takes over the State Theatre tonight with a mix of TV clips, live music, and Meatwad and Shake in puppet form. Doors open at 7 p.m., show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets $25.
ARTS: Check out the Second Thursday Art Night at the Torpedo Factory (105 N. Union St. Alexandria, VA 22314) to meet the artists, meander through their studios, see a performance from Karen Reedy Dance, and hear live music (soprano Kathryn Hearden and classical group Picolloboe). Stop by Blues Alley (1073 Wisconsin Ave. NW) tonight to hear the Larry Coryell Power Trio at 8 and 10 p.m. (tonight through Sunday). Coryell is a musician with 70 albums and 35 years playing music under his belt. $25 plus a $2 service charge per ticket.
