This gray, drizzly nonsense looks like it will finally make way for some lovely, mild weather by Saturday. You’re going to want to get out and do stuff this weekend, D.C. And believe it or not, we actually have decent news from Metro on that subject! This weekend’s scheduled track maintenance is limited to a short section of the Green Line only.

Delays of up to 20 minutes will be in effect between College Park-U of Md and Greenbelt as workers replace older track components on the Green Line, causing trains to share one track between those two adjacent stops. That work runs from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday only.

And that’s it! No delays are expected on the Red, Orange, Blue or Yellow Lines. That all changes next weekend, when plenty more track work projects are planned. But in the meantime, enjoy.
