Just as Sommer pointed out before the weekend, WMATA is proceeding with a number of changes to today’s Metrorail and bus schedules. Metrorail, Metrobus, MetroAccess, RideOn, and DASH are all operating on a regular Sunday schedule. That means the Metro trains will operate until midnight — afterall, it is a school-night. Also, there will be no train service between the East Falls Church and West Falls Church-VT/UVA Metrorail stations to allow for the Dulles Rail Project. Orange Line riders will have to use a shuttle to circumvent the gap in service and should tack-on 30 extra minutes of travel time.
