Photo by dcJohnMetro has posted the weekend track maintenance for June, and the winners this month are the Orange, Red and Blue lines. Construction for the Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project continues on the Orange line for the first two weekends in June, while regular track maintenance will be performed on the Red line on the second and third weekends and on the Blue line during the last weekend of the month. Adjust your weekend schedules accordingly and/or save up for your weekend cab fare. Full schedule below:
June 4 to 6
>> Orange Line: On Friday, from 10 p.m. to closing (3 a.m.) all Orange Line trains will operate every 30 minutes and trains will share one track between the East Falls Church and Vienna/Fairfax-GMU Metrorail stations. There will be no train service between the East Falls Church and West Falls Church-VT/UVA Metrorail stations on Saturday and Sunday. Metro will operate free shuttle buses between the East Falls Church and West Falls Church-VT/UVA Metrorail stations.
June 11 to 13
