At around 1:15 p.m. today, a man was struck and killed by a six-car Orange Line train at the Dunn Loring Metro station. A preliminary police report suggests the death was a suicide. There is no further information at this time about the man. The Dunn Loring station remains closed this afternoon, and trains are single tracking between the Vienna and West Falls Church stations; further, Metro is providing shuttles from both the Vienna and West Falls Church stations to Dunn Loring. Metro advises Orange Line riders to expect delays this evening.
