For this season’s Top Chef DCist will be bringing you our “woulda, coulda, shoulda” take on how the cheftestants are faring. Every week we will highlight one individual who was doin’ it wrong.
This week we learned a little more about our cheftestants. We learned that Tracey has a crush on Angelo (but who doesn’t – he’s pretty dreamy). We learned that Angelo just may be the Machiavelli of Top Chef. We also learned a little bit about how truly challenging it is for school systems to get nutritious lunch on the plate. Watching a group of chefs who usually have a totally different idea of food costs struggle with the very real limitations our school districts face every day for every meal really opened our eyes. And it seems a number of the cheftestants had the same experience. Our analysis and spoilers after the jump.
