MONDAY
UPDATE: Fort Reno has called tonight’s show due to the thunderstorms that are predicted to continue into the evening. Thursday’s show should go on and a they will likely reschedule tonight’s lineup. The official start to D.C.’s musical summer will just have to wait a few days. *Sniff.Summer is officially here, as the annual Fort Reno concert series announced their complete schedule Friday afternoon. Tonight, as had been announced earlier, the series kicks off at 7 p.m. There is a programming change for the opening night, however, as The Public Good had to cancel. XMC (Ex-Motorcycle Couriers) have stepped in to take their place, and joining them are America Hearts and Tiny Bombs. There are storms in the forecast for tonight, with a welcome break from the heat and humidity on the way, so keep your eye on the weather and Fort Reno’s Twitter feed for updates should things start looking dicey. Standard Fort Reno prohibitions on drugs, alcohol, glass bottles and balloons apply. 7 p.m., Free.
