BENEFIT: As we mentioned last week, the Argonaut has experienced an outpouring of support after a recent fire. Tonight, the Rock and Roll Hotel (1353 H Street NE) will be hosting an Argonaut Benefit. The $20 entrance fee gets you complimentary cocktails, and all proceeds go to help the Argonaut rebuild. 5-11 p.m.

MOVIES: The National Archives is holding a free screening of films by the 37th Student Academy Award Winners in the in the William G. McGowan Theater (National Archives Building, Constitution Avenue and 7th Street NW). Five films will be shown in the categories of Alternative, Animation, Documentary, Narrative and Foreign Film. Free, 7 p.m.

MUSIC: Christylez Bacon, Anu Yadav, and Omekongo Dibinga come to the Langston Room at Busboys and Poets (2021 14th Street NW) for a night of performance around the theme, “The Disaster of Oil.” This performance is the second part of the “Common Folk: The Voices of A Movement” concert series, which explores the topics of health, environment and immigration through art and music.
