This is how to beat the heat. Flickr contributor abe.o has us thinking we should buy a kiddie pool, stuff it in our work bag and set up outside the office. Bubbles would be awesome, too.

A note for all our wonderful photo contributors: The recent Flickr redesign seems to have reset some of your privacy settings. While we love that you’re adding so many fab photos to the DCist pool, if your privacy settings aren’t set to allow downloads, we can’t actually use them on the site.

So please go and check/update your Flickr download settings here to make sure the “Anyone” option is selected. Obviously, this setting means that anyone can download your photos, but that’s the only way we can currently accept photo submissions to the DCist pool. Thank you.
