Clear favorites have emerged! Over the last three weeks, Top Chef contestants Kenny Gilbert and Angelo Sosa have held top spots in our poll. The lone exception was the first week, when hometown favorite Tamesha Warren understandably took top honors. This week, Kenny garnered nearly 50 percent of the vote. Meanwhile, Angelo only claimed a little over 20 percent, despite his success in challenges — probably attributable to the fact that he comes off like a jerk. These two leave everyone else in the dust.
Last week’s Elimination Challenge winner, Arnold Myint, has only garnered four votes in the last three weeks. Does his win constitute a movement toward the top or just good luck? Last week’s loser, Tracey Bloom, garnered only one vote despite her prior Quickfire challenge success. We’ll be looking to see if Amanda Baumgarten or Stephen Hopcraft are still hanging around this week after receiving zero votes last week.
As for the White House’s Sam Kass, a solid 66 percent of you find him physically desirable, while 30 percent prefer Eric Ripert and his French accent. Only 4 percent found neither chef attractive. (By the way, for all you Padma lovers, there’s a slideshow of her in different outfits from previous seasons. You’re welcome.)
This week, aside from wanting to see who this season’s winner might be, we also want to know what you think of the reality TV drama. Are this season’s contestants crazier than those from previous seasons? Polls after the jump.
