- It’s been a crazy afternoon for D.C. emergency personnel. First, a tour bus caught on fire at the intersection of H Street and North Capitol Street NE, closing off that intersection for a couple of hours. Finally, some Amtrak and MARC trains are experiencing delays due to police activity at Union Station — a person was threatening to jump off a building. Oh, and while we’re at it, we’ve gotten word that the Red Line is a complete mess right now, with long waits and offloading trains galore.
