The moves of J. Robbins have been highly anticipated and well -documented since his days fronting Jawbox. D.C. diehards bought Burning Airlines and Channels records, attended benefit shows for Robbins’ son Callum and tuned into Jimmy Fallon for the one-off Jawbox reunion. However, due to infrequent show dates, Robbins’ most recent project, Office of Future Plans, has essentially flown under the radar. Comprised of Robbins, drummer Darren Zentek, bassist Brooks Harlan and cellist Gordon Withers, Office of Future Plans takes a different spin on a familiar sound.
