I swear, I’m not just teasing you — there is good news that could help you make that wonderful feeling a reality: the District has extended hours at several D.C. pools today to help residents combat the record-breaking heat. (Today will be the 51st day that temperatures in D.C. reach 90 degrees or higher this year. 51!) The following pools will open at 11 a.m. this morning and will stay open as late as they safely can:
