Now that we’re halfway through this season of Top Chef, it’s time to look back at our past polls to see how the cheftestants have fared.

Over the past eight weeks, we’ve seen Kenny and Angelo consistently top the polls. But we’ve also seen our dark horses, Kelly and Tiffany, make a steady rise. Though Kelly came out on top last week, we saw a comeback from Kenny, who picked up 27 percent of the vote. We’ve also finally seen the last of Stephen, who has consistently been at the bottom of our weekly favorites poll. We’re sad to see him go; he was often a burst of drunk fun on an otherwise mediocre show.

Last week, the polls showed us that plenty of you (14 percent) think there doesn’t deserve to be a finale. An additional 12 percent of you don’t care. 13 percent thought the finale should take place in Austin, TX.

Tonight’s episode is one of the most anticipated of the season, Restaurant Wars, which takes place at Redwood in Bethesda. Angelo is leading one of the teams, and is calling his restaurant EVOO. It’s an abbreviation for extra virgin olive oil made famous by Rachael Ray, and grinds on the nerves of most people who have ears. Would you go to a restaurant with that name?
