WMATA announced this morning that eight of its bus lines — including some popular routes like the H8 and X2 — will slightly alter their routes and schedules to better serve students busing it to the first day of school. Beginning on Monday morning, WMATA will make changes to routes and schedules on the H8, H9, K2, M31, U6, W45, W47 and X2 — so if you rely on any of those buses to get where you need to go, you’ll want to make sure that you look at this list to make sure your usual stop and bus won’t be altered or eliminated. Those who rely on NextBus, take note: these changes won’t be updated in the system until mid-September.
