I can’t believe I got conned into judging again. I’m going to get Ripert!

Two more episodes of competition left until a Top Chef is anointed. This week, the cheftestants will be meeting in Singapore to go through the final stages of competition.

Taking a quick look back on their time in D.C., we find that a disappointing five out of 12 episodes were mostly filmed outside of the confines of the District proper. That’s really sad, considering the producers missed out on some really great filming locations and challenges: Ben’s Chili Bowl/half-smokes, D.C. Central Kitchen, and Salvadoran cuisine to name a few. And it would have been great if the crab challenge could have taken them to the Maine Avenue Seafood Market.

Regardless, the poll results show that Top Chef is far from your least favorite D.C.-based reality show — only 11 percent of you thought it was the worst. No, that dishonor goes to The Real Housewives of D.C., who received 32 percent of the vote. That’s followed up by D.C. Cupcakes with 29 percent, and The Real World with 14 percent. Eleven percent of you thought all the shows were equally terrible.

This week, we saw our poll favorite, Tiffany, eliminated. Her massive 50 percent share of the vote, leaves a lot of room for someone else to claim the top spot this week. Will it be runner up Ed, who got 18 percent last week? Or will it be Angelo (14 percent), Kelly (11 percent), or Kevin (2 percent)? In honor of last week’s episode with Buzz Aldrin, we’d also like to know what you would say if you were yelling at the moon with Buzz Aldrin — let us know in the comments.
