MUSIC: Justin Jones, alt-country singer-songwriter (and a favorite of a number of DCist contributors), launches his new EP, “The Little Fox,” through the newly established 9:30 Club Records at the 9:30 Club (815 V Street NW) tonight. >> Jenny Lewis takes a break from the heartbreaking songs of Rilo Kiley and gets a bit more hopeful (and sometimes downright cheesy) with boyfriend Johnathan Rice in their new group Jenny and Johnny. FOOD & DRINK: Art and Soul (415 New Jersey Avenue NW) presents “BBQ Feast Thursdays” to celebrate chef Art Smith’s appearance on the TLC show BBQ Pitmasters. Come hungry: the feast includes a half rack of John’s baby back ribs, 4 ounces of barbecue beef brisket, 5 grilled Carolina BBQ chicken wings, potato salad, corn on the cob, and corn bread. 5:30-10:30 p.m., $25 (plus tax and tip).

PARTY: “Billy Dee Williams presents a Tribute to Miami Vice” tonight at Little Miss Whiskey’s Golden Dollar (1104 H Street NE).
