MOVIE: At tonight’s Opening Night of the AFI Latin American Film Festival (8633 Colesville Road, Silver Spring) see Revolución, a collection of short films from 10 directors focusing on the 100th anniversary of the Mexican Revolution. 8 p.m., $10.

>> Head to the Washington Psychotronic Film Society’s Virtual Drive-in Night at The Passenger(1021 7th Street NW) for all that drive-in fun — old fashioned coming attractions and commercials, drive-in fare, and mosquitoes (eww, we hope not) — without the hassle of driving. The audience will select the film of the night from a few options, and some lucky attendees will win Joe R. Lansdale’s book, The Complete Drive-In (a collection of three cult horror novels). 8 p.m., free, but a $2 donation is suggested.

LECTURE: Last Friday, September 17, was Constitution Day, but the National Archives continues the celebration with a lecture from a Constitution and law scholars as well as other experts on, “The State of the Constitution: What Every American Should Know.” You’ll hear from NPR’s Cokie Roberts, Constitution expert Michael Meyerson, and Center for Civic Education director Chuck Quigley, in the William G. McGowan Theater (Constitution Avenue between Seventh and Ninth Streets NW). This event is free and open to the public. 7 p.m.
