If you’re reading this, you most likely didn’t make plans to go to Munich for Oktoberfest. Fret not meine freunden! There are events all over the DMV that let you party like it’s 1810 again. Festivals? Ja! Keg parties? Ja! Beer breakfast? Ja, got that covered too. So grab your lederhosen and dirndl and go out to some of these fantastic fall events.

Biergarten Oktoberfest
September 18 – October 4
Location: Biergarten Haus
Cost: By the glass
Lowdown: 12 additional Fest biers, including Ayinger, and Weissenohe Monk Fest.

3rd Annual Das Best Oktoberfest
September 25-26, noon-6 p.m.
Location: National Harbor, Maryland
Cost: $25, VIP sessions $45/$55 (VIP tent, extra hour)
Lowdown: 200 different beers (international and local), Oompah bands, live music, German food. Don’t worry: the issues from last year have been addressed — there more bathrooms, more food vendors, more bars and more seating.
