Photo by ekelly80.So DCers, lest you forget that next weekend will be a mess of Jon Stewart/Stephen Colbert rally goers, Halloween revelers, and general madness, we have a round-up of what people are talking about a week before:
>> Of course, there are some interesting ads on Craigslist regarding the rally: this person is looking for a place to stay, and don’t you fear – they haven’t been arrested or anything. This woman bought an Alice in Wonderland costume for the rally, but it didn’t fit, so you can have it for $20. And of course, there are some people looking to meet someone special at the rally because, really, why not? (And requisite disclaimer – some of those Craiglist ads are NSFW – but you’re not at work anyway, right?)
>> If you don’t want to deal with the monumental crowds, you can watch the rally on your iPhone, iPad, or Android phone. However Ryan Kearney suggests you don’t.
>> Washington Post writer Carlos Lozada is cranky, and asks Jon Stewart to cancel the rally, ferchristsakes. Lozada says the rally is too earnest, even though he knows it’s satiric. Or something. Yeah, Carlos, the rally’s not going to be cancelled.
