FOOD & DRINK: Slow Food DC is throwing an animal roast (pig, lamb, and goat) at Poste (555 8th Street NW) tonight to celebrate their new “Slow Food DC Snail of Approval” program, which will recognize local restaurants that offer “good, clean, and fair food.” Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 at the door, and include tastes of all three roasts, two drinks (beer, wine or cocktails) and dessert.
