ART: Tonight, the Official Fotoweek Launch Party goes down at the Corcoran Gallery of Art (500 17th Street NW), kicking off dozens of Fotoweek exhibits, lectures and events. Come for the images, cocktails, music and small bites. 8-11 p.m. $45.

MUSIC: Givers open and are followed by Ra Ra Riot at an early show at the 9:30 Club (815 V Street NW). 5:30 p.m. $18.

>> Trophy Wife, The Gift and War On Women perform at St. Stephen’s Church (1525 Newton Street NW) at a Girls to the Front event. 7 p.m. Free, but donations appreciated.

FOOD & DRINK: 15 Korean chefs will prepare 30 different Korean dishes, including a variety of kimchi, at the World Korean Food Festival being held tonight at the Korean Cultural Center, or KORUS House (2370 Massachusetts Avenue NW). RSVP required. 6-8 p.m.

MOVIES: See sneak peeks of the film Truck Farm!, a documentary on urban farms in America, and hear from filmmakers Ian Cheney and Curt Ellis at the National Museum of American History (4th Street and Constitution Avenue NW) tonight. Afterward, enjoy cocktails and snacks (included in price of admission). This event is part of the Food for Tomorrow Symposium going on tonight and tomorrow. 6:30-9 p.m. $20.

>> The National Archives (Constitution Avenue and 7th Street NW) presents its sixth annual William G. McGowan Forum on Communications with a screening of the film Long Distance Warrior: A New Documentary about the Most Famous Entrepreneur You’ve Never Heard of, which tells the story of the creation of MCI. Following the screening, the film’s producers and the former general counsel for MCI will talk at a forum. 7 p.m. Free.
