Photo from the DCist tipline.According to reports, 14th Street NW has been blocked off between Rhode Island Avenue and Q Street NW due to some kind of suspicious package. P Street NW between 13th and 15th Streets has also been shut down due to the investigation. The closure has caused a rather large traffic backup and has also caused Metrobuses and Circulator buses to detour around the area.
Based on the image above received via our tipline, it appears as if the package in question is located at the intersection of 14th and P Streets, in front of the Studio Theatre.
