Vincent Gallo as the “creative director” of Rriiccee

Vincent Gallo, the so-called “creative director” of Rriiccee.

MONDAY

When not trying to sell his sperm online or playing thinly veiled versions of himself in Francis Ford Coppola movies, actor Vincent Gallo keeps busy with Rriiccee, an experimental music project he started with Hole guitarist Eric Erlandson, though a partnership with a different member of that band would be far more entertaining. It’s unclear what, exactly, fans are in for with a genius as delicate as Gallo, but it’ll be anything but boring. At Jammin’ Java, 8:00 p.m., $17.

>> Jónsi (of Sigur Rós) will play the first of two nights at 9:30 with Mountain Man. As of right now, Monday’s show is sold out, but tickets ($35) remain for Tuesday. Both shows start at 7:00 p.m.

TUESDAY

An excellent evening of local live music at the Cat‘s backstage includes the volume-inclined Tennis System, Arc in Round and the soothing sounds of Laughing Man. 8:30 p.m., $8.

>> Rock and Roll Hotel: Shearwater, Damian Jurado. 8:30 p.m., $15.

>> The Red Palace: Priestess, Naam, King Giant. 8:30 p.m., $12.

WEDNESDAY

It’s been quite some time since The Blow brought its pre-programed Casio kiss-offs to D.C. After Jona Bechtolt decided to focus on YACHT shortly following the release of its last album Paper Television, singer Khaela Maricich kept a pretty low profile until recently re-emerging from self-induced hibernation with some high-concept songs involving an imaginary partnership with Lindsay Lohan. If anyone can make that work, it’s Maricich. At the Black Cat with Blair. 8:00 p.m., $15.

>> 9:30 Club: La Roux, Far East Movement, Francis and the Lights. 10:00 p.m., sold out.

>> Warner Theatre: Shinedown, Will Hoge. 8:00 p.m., $39-42.50.
