COMEDY: The Wonderland Ballroom (1101 Kenyon Street NW) presents their third Don’t Block the Box Comedy Show featuring a bunch of local talent, including: Tim Miller (D.C. Improv), Jake Young (Arlington Cinema, Emocapella, the country’s only emo-only acapella troupe), Kyle Martin (D.C. Improv), Tyler Richardson (Zanies), Emily Ruskowski (Winner of “So You Think You’re Funny?” comedy competition) and Tyler Sonnichsen (North Carolina Comedy Festival). 7 p.m. $3.

>> Check out “Chinese Menu” at the DC Arts Center (2438 18th Street NW) for a night of improv hosted by comic and actor Pete Bergen. 10 p.m. $10.

DANCE: Contemporary dance group Hubbard Street Dance Chicago performs the physically challenging Kylián piece 27’52” (note: there’s partial nudity — hey-yo!) at the Kennedy Center’s Eisenhower Theater (2700 F Street NW) tonight. 8 p.m. $22-$60.

STARS: Innovative musical group Bluebrain reaches for the stars tonight with a performance at the David M. Brown Planetarium (1426 N Quincy Street, Arlington). 6:30 p.m. doors, 7 p.m. show. Suggested donations: $15 adults, $5 students.

ART: The Slideluck Potshow at Satellite Central (3333 M Street NW) combines a slideshow with a potluck. Bring a dish and grab a seat for this Fotoweek event. 7 p.m. Tickets: $10.

THEATER: Tonight is “Cheap Date Night” at Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company (641 D Street NW). >> Ridgefield Middle School Talent Nite is an original comedy about a middle school talent show. It’s being put on tonight at The Shop at Fort Fringe (607 New York Avenue NW) as a part of the Capital Fringe FallFRINGE Festival. 11 p.m. $20.

MUSIC: Suicidal Tendencies, who got their start in the 80s, bring their Join the Army/Déjà vu Tour to the 9:30 Club (815 V Street NW) tonight. Underdog also performs. 7 p.m. $25.

FUNDRAISER: Use your best mustache lines (“I mustache you a question…”) at the Movember Fundraiser Party, which is raising money for to fight cancers that affect men at The Front Page (1333 New Hampshire Avenue NW) tonight.
