- A big congratulations to D.C. United legend Ben Olsen, who was officially named the seventh head coach in club history today. Olsen — who had led the team on an interim basis after Curt Onalfo resigned in August, and is a head coach only 370 days after he retired from competition — said upon his introduction, “we have a way of playing at D.C. United that I want to get back to. The commitment, the energy, the passion all need to come back.” Go, Benny, go.
