Morning Washington. OMG guys it might snow tonight! Have you heard? Actually the chances are pretty slim, the Capital Weather Gang says that there is a very small chance we might get some flurries, but any accumulation would be further south. Really, the news is we’re getting much colder weather than average this time of the year. But, SNOW GUYS.

>> The funding has been cut for the project that would bring a hotel to the First Church of Christ Scientist at Euclid and Champlain in Adams Morgan. The D.C. Council nixed a $61 million proposed tax abatement for the project during all of the budget gap cuts.

>> I think blind items are kind of silly, but ARLNow has an interesting one when it comes to the Bada Bing food truck. Apparently, two Rosslyn/Crystal City area businesses call the police every time the truck is in their neighborhood. Cops have checked the truck’s license and see if it’s parked legally at least eight times since it launched, just over a month ago. The cops have never found the truck in violation of anything. The war between brick and mortar restaurants and food trucks continues.

>> Montgomery County revisited dog tethering laws. While they didn’t ban tethering all together, they limited tethering to two hours a day between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. Owners are also required to use a swivel leash, designed to prevent entanglement. You can only tether your dog outside and abandon him or her for two hours? That seems excessively long. Do dog owners frequently tether their dogs for longer? The real question is, what would Molly say?
