  • The legal wrangling over the Third Church of Christ, Scientist has apparently reached an end — a settlement between the D.C. Preservation League, the Committee of 100, the Church and developer ICG Properties was reached in late November. The brass tacks: the church will (likely) be demolished, while the Preservation League will get a few hundred thousand bucks. More details on the nitty gritty over at Housing Complex.
  • The District needs $140 million to properly build infrastructure around the old St. Elizabeth’s campus, which will soon be the site of the Department of Homeland Security’s headquarters. But you’ll never guess what: despite the fact that a large portion of that infrastructure will be used by federal workers on the site of a large federal headquarters, the federal government hasn’t felt like chipping in yet.
  • The Hatchet reports that George Washington University is not giving its undergraduate students enough information “about how to get help for, or report sexual assault.”
