MOVIES: The Raspberry Brothers mock Home Alone in their own live comedy in response to a movie screening (think Mystery Science Theater 3000) at the Arlington Cinema and Drafthouse (2903 Columbia Pike, Arlington). As a bonus, there will also be milk and Christmas cookies (to go with your beer), and a money-back laughter guarantee (seriously). Doors open at 6:30 p.m., movie starts at 7:30 p.m. $12.
MUSIC: The Rock and Roll Hotel (1353 H Street NE) presents a Modern Times Christmas Show featuring a massive line-up of acts, including The Champions, Stroma, Jay Paslay, Echo Armada, Maureen Andary of The Sweater Set, Snakehead Run, Star FK Radium, Ken Wenzel of Cross Kentucky, Ian Walters, Johnny Grave, Adrian Hardkor of The Bad Decisions, Eric Kintner, Alex Vans and others. 8 p.m. Tickets: $10.
