A woman who reportedly jumped from the mezzanine level at Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center early on New Year’s Day has died, reports the Bowie Patch. The woman plunged from the mezzanine level of the convention center around 2:30 a.m., falling approximately 20 feet to the atrium below. Most New Year’s revelers had stopped partying at the hotel and convention center by the time the woman fell. The woman, who was not a registered guest at the hotel, was “relatively young” according to Prince George’s County police.
