Photo by christopher.poole.Morning Washington. Yup, there’s some white stuff on the ground this morning, if you were up around 7 you saw the snow falling. There is just a dusting in the District and the snow threat is over for today. Good news is, while the roads might be a little slick, there wasn’t nearly enough snow to cause any travel problems.
>> Bread for the City’s grand opening of their new medical clinic was interrupted by BB gun fire yesterday afternoon. The shots hit the front window of the building, but no one was injured nor were the windows damaged. While MPD responded to the incident, Bread for the City spokesperson Greg Bloom said it was likely that the “neighorhood kids” were to blame.
>> It’s your weekend Metro delay schedule: bad news for you Red and Blue line riders. On the Red line, trains are sharing the same tracks between Rhode Island Ave and New York Ave/Florida Ave/Gallaudet U and between Friendship Heights and Van Ness. For the Blue line, trains are sharing the same tracks between Braddock Road and Van Dorn Street and between Stadium-Armory and Addison Road.
