More Red Line woes to report: WMATA notes that due to some electrical lines hanging over the tracks near the Rockville station, service between the Twinbrook and Shady Grove stations on the Red Line has been halted. WUSA9 reports that the issue is also causing delays for CSX and MARC trains which also use that stretch of rail. Metro has set up shuttle bus service at both stations, but suggest riders use the Q6 Metrobus or RideOn buses to get around the service disruption. The wires belong to Pepco — workers from the utility are now working on the issue, but there is no estimate on when the wires will be removed.
