December 30, 2010. It’s a date that our area photographers will remember for a long time. It was the day that the last photo lab in the U.S., still developing it, would accept any new roles of Kodachrome film. The end of 2010 saw a flurry of photographs shot with this special color film in order to make the deadline. Now in 2011, our Flickr pool is starting to reap the benefits of this now extinct photo developing process — mosley.brian shares this lovely composition taken with the film, of the boathouse along the Potomac.
