KARAOKE: The Rock and Roll Hotel (1353 H Street NE) teams up with Sticky Rice and Little Miss Whiskey’s tonight to present the third annual H Street Karaoke Championship. Come hear contestants (who made it through previous rounds last week) belt it out for prizes. 8 p.m. Free.

HAPPY HOUR: The Washington, D.C. chapter of the Sierra Club is hosting another streetcar happy hour at SOVA (1359 H Street NE) tonight, where supporters can meet up and chat about making streetcars work in D.C. 6-8 p.m.

>> Help DC SCORES continue to provide its after-school soccer and poetry programs to D.C. students at their charity happy hour tonight at One Lounge (1606 20th Street NW). Part of the night’s events, and a way to raise more money for the kids, will be a raffle for prizes, including an iPad. 5:30-7:30 p.m.

MOVIE: Learn about the immigration controversy in Prince William County at a screening of 9500 Liberty at Sixth & I Historic Synagogue (600 I Street NW). Following the film, director Annabel Park will be on hand to lead a discussion. 7:30-9:30 p.m. Free, but RSVPs requested.

FOOD & DRINK: The Whole Foods on P Street (1440 P Street NW) is offering an introductory class to international beers. Participants will sample seven different styles of beer (IPA, Golden Ale, Amber Ale, Brown Ale, Helles, Stouts and Hard Cider) and learn about each.
