There’s a whole bunch of hooting and hollering going on about Sharia law these days — and, predictably, all it’s producing is a bunch of incredibly disgusting behavior. Washington is no exception: there was a pro-Sharia protest scheduled to take place today outside the White House; when that protest’s leader, Anjem Choudary, postponed the protest, the anti-Sharia counter-protesters were left with nothing to do but toss metal crosses at a man while he prayed.

Here’s TPM’s Ryan Reilly, who filmed the footage above:

Gaffney and his group…denounced Sharia law to their followers as well as media and curious onlookers. But just as the rally was dying out, a Muslim man who showed up to pray in front of the White House. He was quickly surrounded by a large group of protestors who shouted an array of insults at him: mocking him for drinking Starbucks coffee, telling him to go back to his country and even throwing tiny crosses at his feet as he prayed.

Sigh, this country. What a place, eh?
