There’s something whimsical about this shot, the idea that these two kids are looking over the water, pensive, taking stock of their long, eventful lives. Pondering regrets, reliving old passions. On the other hand, they’re probably just searching for big boats and pretty fishies. Despite these simple whims, we all could take a minute, or several, to count the lapping waves — tomorrow starts a new week and there are plenty of other worries at hand.
