Reliable Source provides this gem of a story about oil magnate and occasional “environmentalist” T. Boone Pickens, who, after dining on Capitol Hill last night, was apparently was locked out of his car. By his wife’s dog.
Following dinner, their driver came around in an Escalade to pick them up — and just as he got out of the car and walked around to open the door for them, Mrs. Pickens’s dog (a small rescue pup named Tommy who was inside the vehicle) somehow managed to hit the lock button. And yes, the engine was running.
Pickens, always the deal-slinger, managed to get the dog to hit a button which lowered the window, allowing them to unlock the door. Ahh, if only the negotiations with Gulf Oil had gone so smoothly.
