FOOD & DRINK: Tonight’s Handi Hour (combining handmade with happy hour) at Renwick Gallery (17th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue NW) will feature Craft Beers selected by ChurchKey’s beer Director Greg Engert. And if handcrafted beers aren’t enough for you, you can get really handy and create something in the craft and knitting corners. 5:30-7:30 p.m. $15 includes 2 beers ($5 for each additional drink).

>> Occidental Grill and Seafood (1475 Pennsylvania Avenue NW) is bringing back pre-Prohibition prices with 18¢ drinks tonight. For each item you buy off the bar menu (at the bar) or off the dinner menu (at the outdoor cafe), you can pair it with one of five cocktail options at 18 cents each, including the Cherry Blossom, Cable Car, Last Word, Pimms Cup and Old Fashioned. 3-7 p.m. at the bar, 3-6 p.m. at the outdoor cafe.

ROYAL WEDDING: Ready your fascinator, raise that pinky finger, and head to the Peacock Cafe (3251 Prospect St., NW) for the Prelude to a Royal Wedding cocktail party tonight from 6:30 to 10 p.m. (Tickets are $40, with proceeds being donated to the Capital Breast Care Center). Don’t stay out too late though, the Royal Wedding brunch at Union Jack’s (671 North Glebe Road, Arlington), with a live stream of the wedding and a breakfast buffet, starts bright and early at 6 a.m.

BOOK: The infamous Larry Flynt of Hustler, along with historian David Eisenback, comes to Barnes and Noble (555 12th Street NW) to discuss their book One Nation Under Sex: How the Private Lives of Presidents, First Ladies and Their Lovers Changed the Course of American History. 6:30 p.m.

MUSIC: Parts & Labor, who describe themselves as an experimental rock/noise rock band, perform tonight at the Red Palace (1212 H Street NE) with Hume and Meta. 8:30 p.m. $8.
