MOVIE: The first of this year’s many outdoor film fests kicks off tonight in Rosslyn (Gateway Park at the base of Key Bridge, 1300 Lee Highway, Arlington). They’re showing Groundhog Day featuring Bill Murray, since their theme this year is “SNL in the Movies.” Dusk (around 8:30 p.m.). Free.
>> Scott Pilgrim vs. The World is E Street Cinema’s (555 11th Street NW) midnight movie this week. Catch it tonight or tomorrow at the witching hour. $10.

There will also be a farmer’s market on-site where you can grab a locally-sourced snack. 12 p.m. $55.
FOOD & DRINK: Chefs from Domaso, The Source, Liberty Tavern, Jackson 20 and elsewhere will compete this Sunday in the Top Dog Half Smoke Challenge at Domaso (1121 N. 19th Street, Arlington). Come out and sample all 11 competing half-smokes and wash them down with a specialty cocktail (all included in ticket price). Proceeds will be donated to Brain Food, a organization that teaches cooking and life skills to inner city kids. 3-5 p.m. $20.
