MOVIES: See the best entries in this year’s 48 Hour Film Project, a contest where local filmmakers create, film, edit and submit a movie in just 48 hours, at AFI Silver Theatre (8633 Colesville Road, Silver Spring). Tonight at 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. $11.

>> The Capitol Riverfront Front Row outdoor film fest begins its “Best of the Oscars” lineup tonight with the classic film Casablanca, starring Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman, at Tingey Plaza (100 Tingey Street SE). 8:45 p.m. Free.

FOOD & DRINK: Chef Robert Wiedmaier of BRABO (1600 King Street, Alexandria) presents a seven-course Spring Harvest, Full Circle dinner tonight, with dishes and drink pairings prepared by chefs and sommeliers from BRABO, Brasserie Beck, Marcel’s, and Mussel Bar. Some of the night’s selections include Rappahannock River Oyster Rockefeller, Quails and Snails, and Randal line Back Veal Tortellini. (See the full menu here). >> The DC Homebrewers descend upon The Black Squirrel (2427 18th Street NW) tonight with their latest batches of homemade Belgian beers. Bring your own concoction, or just come out and support. 7 p.m.

ART: The Paper Collective, a new creative community of D.C. artists who want to encourage others to create art, is throwing a launch party and raising money for The Capitol Hill Arts Workshop tonight at Gold Leaf Studio (1523 22nd Street NW). In advance of the event, they want you to submit a self portrait. 7-10 p.m. $10 suggested donation.

MUSIC: The Sweater Set, with their delightful array of instruments (ukulele, guitar, flute, hand percussion, accordion, glockenspiel, kazoo), perform tonight at the Kennedy Center Millennium Stage (2700 F Street NW). 6 p.m. Free.
