Do your Memorial Day plans include picnicking at or hanging around the National Mall? Bluebrain has an app for that. Their app, aptly titled “The National Mall,” is a location-aware album, during which the music changes depending on the listener’s position. If the video previewing the app (embedded below) is any indication, the composition is full of Bluebrain’s trademark ambience and ethereal sounds which will complement the sights and sounds of the historic area. The app — the first of several location aware albums planned by the duo of Ryan and Hays Holladay — will be available at midnight tonight for iPhone (and soon thereafter for iPad and Droid).
