Given its long queue, we’d have to rate Shake Shack’s arrival in the District as a hit — and so it’s with excitement that we saw Dan Steinberg tweet this morning that the burger joint’s second location in the District, inside Nationals Park, will open next Tuesday.

The Nationals are currently on a long west coast road trip, but by the time they come back to D.C. for series against St. Louis and Baltimore, you should be able to cool down with a delicious concrete. (Though we’re expecting lines for the Shack in the Park to be just as long as they are during lunch rush on 18th Street, if not longer.)

Several other restaurants also operated by Danny Meyer and his Union Square Hospitality Group will be opening alongside Shake Shack along the Miller Lite Scoreboard Walk on the club level, including stands serving barbecue, Belgian fries and tacos.
