Is there anything more satisfying than knocking off work a few minutes early and heading to your local pub of choice to soak in a couple rays while downing an ice cold beverage? (Answer: no.) Now you can add the Red Palace to your outdoor drinking itinerary: the H Street bar/concert venue/burlesque joint opened an outdoor space yesterday.

A selection of beers are available on the patio; food service isn’t available yet, but is on it’s way, according to the club.

As far as we’re concerned, the more patios at places along or near H Street — like the one recently opened behind the Capital City Diner, which also features an outdoor bar — the better. As the weather heats up, things tend to get a little bit crowded, so the extra spaces should serve the thirsty, sun-deprived masses well.
