WJLA reports that on Friday authorities decided not to pursue charges against the two journalists who were arrested Tuesday for reporting on a meeting of the D.C. Taxicab Commission. Treatment of the journalists has aroused concern, and Mayor Vince Gray has said he’s looking into the incident.
Continuing the story’s momentum, WJLA’s Mark Segraves went to the Taxi Commission headquarters on Friday to ask why journalists can’t record a public meeting. Segraves was thrown out by a security guard who proceeded to lock the door and turn off the lights.
